Idioms contain rich cultures,different nation's idioms have born special characters.Several Chinese idioms and Thai idioms are related with "water' word,comparison between Chinese idioms and Thai idioms with "water" word in order to analyze meaning's reflection,and raise cross-languages education to be high value.The realm of this study is limited to the Chinese and Thai language with "water" idioms,to collect Chinese "Chinese Idioms Dictionary" and Thai "Royal Thai Dictionary" idioms with "water" word,then compare their roots,structures,meanings to classify Chinese and Thai idioms'refection in both countries' natural resource,daily life and people belief,different reflection from idiom would display Chinese and Thai ethnics different attitude.Moreover,the comparison between Chinese and Thai idioms with "water" word will make Thai students who lean Chinese language increase their Chinese language knowledge,make better in Chinese language usage,and enhance studying Chinese in Thailand to be more certain.Meanwhile,it will help make people in both countries more understand in Chinese and Thai translating method and exchanging culture.
