Since 2015,the word "face score" has swept the country, and people dubbed it as a face-seeing society. Some studies have found that the higher the attractiveness of the appearance, the higher the salary, the attractive salary of high-profile attractive people is 3%-5% higher than that of ordinary people, and the attractiveness of low-profile attractive people is 5% lower than that of ordinary people.10%(Fei Shuyi,2016).In addition, the attractiveness of appearance may also have an impact on the individual's academic, employment, and work income. The social phenomenon of research and the association of high profile attractiveness with high capacity, high potential, and a good future are called stereotypes(Dion,1972;Lanyd,1974).In the past, researchers have carried out a series of stereotyped studies around attractive looks.Facial stereotype refers to a relatively stable social cognition, concept or expectation formed by individuals with high or low attractive appearance.Previous research on stereotyped stereotypes was influenced by the attractiveness of the viewers(ie,the attractiveness of the experimental materials, and the attractiveness of the target's appearance)to the stereotype of the evaluator's appearance(Dion,1972).The study found that high-profile attractiveness targets are more likely to be preferred to interviewees during interviews(Li Aimei,2009;Judge,2009)and easier access to higher wages(Judge,2009),such as when high-profile attractive goals do not involve With looks-attractive crimes(eg,robbery, etc.),high profile goals will get more forgiveness(Harold Sigall & Nancy Ostrove,1975).Appearance attractiveness is an important indicator to measure the physiological attractiveness of human beings.Previous studies have found that:(1)Appealing attractiveness of target can influence people's attitude.Dion(1972)believes that people will associate good traits with attractiveness of high appearance.Afterwards,Heilman(1985)found that under certain conditions, people associate bad traits with high-profile attractiveness.(2)The attractiveness of the observer's own appearance assessed by others(ie,the attractiveness of the evaluators participating in the experiment, and the attractiveness of the evaluator for short)has a different attitude toward attractive attractiveness goals.Appearances with lower attractiveness ratings may contradict and exclude high attractiveness goals. For example,Dermer's(1975)study found that when appraisers are low-profile attractive people, they will give a lower score for high-profile attractiveness. This shows that the attractive appearance will affect stereotypes. The core self-evaluation is an overall self-evaluation that influences the self-evaluation of specific areas. The study found that people with high-core self-evaluation are more likely to face and solve problems, while those with low-core self-evaluation are more likely to evade the problem(Li Jianbin,2010;Wang Meimei,2013);the evaluators face threats Different reactions have different effects on stereotypes: people who escape in the face of threats are prone to reverse stereotypes;those who actively resolve in the face of threats do not have reverse stereotypes(Agthe,2014).It can be seen that high-core self-evaluation people are more likely to appear stereotyped stereotypes, and low-core self-evaluation people are more likely to have reversed stereotypes(Li Jianbin,2010).It can be seen that core self-evaluation affects stereotyped stereotypes..Throughout the past research,it can be found that the attractiveness of the research mainly focuses on the attractiveness of the target. So,does the attractiveness of the appraiser affect the formal stereotype? This study aims to systematically examine the influence of appraisers' attractiveness on stereotyped stereotypes. The study uses two explicit and implicit experimental paradigms, from the external characteristics of the evaluator(ie,the attractiveness of the evaluator's appearance)to the internal features(ie,the evaluator's core self-evaluation),examining the features of the evaluator to their stereotyped appearance.Impact.The results of Study 1 and Study 2 show that:(1)In terms of explicit stereotypes, the appearance of high and low self-evaluation attractiveness is not significantly different from that of stereotypes, but there are low self-evaluation attractive people who are attractive to high profile. The score of the goal is lower, the score of the low-profile attraction goal is higher;the situation of the high self-esteem attraction is opposite.(2)There is no significant difference in stereotyped stereotypes between high and low core self-evaluators,but low core self-evaluators have lower scores for high-profile attractiveness targets and higher scores for low-profile attractive targets. The self-evaluator's situation is the opposite.(3)In terms of implicit stereotypes, the stereotypes of high and low self-evaluation attractive people are significantly different.Under compatible tasks, highly self-reviewing attractive people respond to high and low attractiveness goals. When the difference was not significant, the attractiveness of the low self-evaluation attractive reviewers showed no significant difference in response time to the high and low attractiveness goals.Under the incompatible task, high self-evaluation attractiveness appraisers had no significant difference in response time to high and low attractive attractive targets.Low self-evaluation attractive people responded less quickly to high-profile attractive targets.(4)The stereotypes of the high and low core self-evaluators are significantly different.Under compatible tasks, the response of the high-core self-evaluators to the high and low attractive attractive targets is not significant, and the evaluation of low-core self-evaluators is high. There was no significant difference in the response time of the low-profile attractive target.Under the incompatible task, the responders of the high-core self-evaluation showed no significant difference in the response time of the high and low attractive attraction targets, and the response of the low-core self-evaluators to the high-profile attractive targets was even shorter.Through experiments, the main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The attractiveness of the appraiser affects the appearance stereotype;(2)The evaluator's core self-evaluation influences the appearance stereotype;(3)There is an experimental separation of implicit and explicit stereotypes, and implicit stereotypes are more pronounced than explicit stereotypes.
