Implicit Association Test Of Shyness And The Study Of The Feature Of Facial Cognitive Task By The Individuals Of Different Shyness Level

Shyness as a personality traits affects People's Daily life, people who have this traits care about others'opinions and evaluations in interpersonal interaction process, tend to escape the social scenes which may cause attention or criticism, shyness are often paired with negative self-perception, clumsy explicit behavior, negative emotions and uncomfortable physiological phenomenon. Excessive shyness to People's Daily lives has negative impacts.Previous studies, in research objects mainly concentrated in children and college students' explicit shyness, research contents is mainly the related researches and experiment research, in research method mainly adopts self report. But this kind of research paradigm has certain limitation, influenced by the social expectations and so on. So developing a implicit Test for measuring shyness become imperative.In view of this situation, the first study aims to develop a shyness implicit Association tests to make up the insufficiency of self report and investigate shyness as a personality at the same time, whether there is implicit and explicit two different structures. In the second study, we combined the shyness implicit Association tests with the questionnaire to screen the high-low shyness, and want to study the different shy people have difference on facial recognition. Conclusions are as follows:(1) Implicit Association test has high reliability, and can be used to study the implicit shyness. Shyness as a personality trait, existing implicit and explicit structural distinction, they are not relation.(2) The face of different directions influence facial cognitive, to identify the face of turning sideways 45°ave low accuracy of long reaction.(3) The face of different facial expressions influence facial cognitive, positive, neutral and negative face expression are difference significantly in reaction time, the positive is less than the negative in reaction time.(4) the individuals of different shyness level are significantly difference at the facial expression cognitive of different face directions in accuracy rate. (5) the individuals of different shyness level are significantly difference at the facial cognitive of different facial expression cognitive in reaction time.
