The Comparative Study Of The Paraphrase And The Instructions Of The Verbs In The Modern Chinese Usage Dictionary

For usage dictionary,the paraphrase and the instructions are very important,they both have the direct impact on understanding and using of words in dictionary users.Contrasting the paraphrase and the instructions in different versions of the dictionary,can not only help to find the characteristics of the paraphrase and the instructions in different versions of the dictionary as well as the advantages and disadvantages,also can provide the beneficial reference to the improvement of the paraphrase and the instructions.The article selects Eight Hundred Words of Modern Chinese and Chinese Verbs Usage Dictionary,contrasts and analyzes the paraphrase and the instructions of the verbs in the two usage dictionaries,the reason of choosing the verbs is that the verbs is in a core position in the language system.Contrasting and analyzing the paraphrase and the instructions of the verbs in the two usage dictionaries can not only promote the two dictionaries to learn from each other and to optimize themselves together,but also can provide reference for Chinese usage dictionary compilation,and for the development of Chinese language teaching and teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The article is divided into five chapters as follows:Chapter 1 is introduction.It consists of the reason for the subject selected,the value of the research,the situation of the research,and the research methods.Chapter 2 is contrasting and analyzing the division and expression of verb meanings in the two dictionaries.In the first section of this chapter,we firstly inspect the division of verb meanings in the two dictionaries,then we contrast the division of verb meanings in the two dictionaries with the help of forms.By comparison,we summary three different situations of the division of verb meanings in the two dictionaries,and we analyze the reasons of the differences.In the section 2 of this chapter,we compare the expression of verb meanings in the two dictionaries,analyze and summary four different situations of the expression of verb meanings in the two dictionaries from the angle of the concept of role.Chapter 3 is contrasting and analyzing the methods of verb meanings in the two dictionaries.In this chapter we put the methods of verb meanings in the two dictionariesdivided to five categories and eighteen small classes according to the existing research and analysis of the corpus.With the help of the forms and the captions,we firstly analyze the methods of verb meanings in the two dictionaries both on the macroscopic and microscopic levels.Then on the basis of the analysis,we compare the methods of verb meanings in the two dictionaries,summary the differences and similarities of the methods of verb meanings in the two dictionaries,and put forward some related suggestions.Chapter 4 is contrasting and analyzing the instructions of verb meanings in the two dictionaries.In this chapter,we firstly describe the instructions of verb meanings in the two dictionaries.On the basis of the description,we compare and analyze the instructions of verb meanings in the two dictionaries,summary the differences and similarities of the instruction of verb meanings in the two dictionaries,and put forward some related suggestions.In conclusion,the article summarizes main viewpoints,blazing trails and inadequacy.
