The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between the rural left-behind children's rearing patterns,teachers' ways of discipline and social behavior,and put forward three hypotheses:hypothesis one,the social behavior of left-behind children in rural areas is related to family upbringing.Hypothesis 2,the social behavior of left-behind children in rural areas is related to the way of teachers'correction;Assuming three,after controlling the influence of family education,teachers' way of discipline still has significant predictive power for the social behavior of left-behind children in rural areas.This study is based on the children left behind in seven primary schools in Hua county village of Hua county,Henan province.the research adopts questionnaire survey method for data collection.According to the statistical analysis results,the study draws the following conclusions:(1)The social behavior of the left-behind children in rural areas is related to the parenting style:the more enlightened and authoritative parenting style,the higher the social behavior of the left-behind children in rural areas;However,the social behavior of the only child in the rural left-behind children is not significantly correlated with the family upbringing.(2)The social behavior of the left-behind children in rural areas is gender difference,there are significant differences between boys and girls in the behavior of care behavior,rescue behavior,cooperative behavior and overall social behavior.(3)The prosocial behavior and parenting style of rural left-behind children:Grandpa,grandma,grandma,take Grandpa more authoritative parenting,while the pro social behavior of children left in rural areas is higher;however,the rural left-behind children in child's pro social behavior and parenting styles have no significant correlation.Based on the above findings,this study proposes suggestions for parents,rural school teachers and future researchers as a reference.
