The design subject is the applied research of the art language of woodcut in brand vision,take“guoling jianguai"as an example.The author want to build a nut brand and combined with the nuts and Chinese traditional auspicious conceptually and graphically.Using the artistic expression of woodcut to stand out the unique personality of this brand,which is more affectionate and human and strengthen the emotional interaction with customers.The design object is to convey the brand concept to the consumers and open the gap with the visual products of the same kind.The achievement of the transformation of woodcut by using contemporary art concepts and graphic design methods increases the cultural connotation of the brand and spreads the influence and competitiveness of the brand.Let us rediscover the value of woodcut and its expansion to the dimension and aesthetics of brand design.Demand survey report:according to the need,the author has carried on the investigation and analysis about the woodcut's market status and its need in brand vision,and discovers some problems.Woodcuts artistic language has a weakness of external extension and focus more on skill rather than art as well as immersing themselves and isn't understand by ordinary audience.All of that problems cause it to be marginalized in modern design,and the audience is limited.Based on the research,we can result in that the design of brand visual image may have a positive impact on the diversified development of woodcut and the diversification of the field of brand vision.Theoretical research Report:The authors mainly read and study the theory and literature from 5 aspects.The definition of the concept of woodcut language and the study of the characteristics of woodcut analyze and summarize the types of woodcut that are more suitable for the subject.The relationship between woodcuts artistic language and brand vision system make a basement of the flexible application of woodcut in the brand.Study on the selection of brand positioning and brand image determine four Chinese traditional auspicious as the design object.The feasibility analysis of the reason and influence that Chinese traditional auspicious would have as the image of Chinese traditional nut brand.The theoretical research above will provides theoretical basis and method guidance for the later design.Design process report:According to the main aim of this subject and conclusion,the brand is named "guolingjiangaui",using "weird" homophonic as a creative point.The author put the core of the design on brand logo,woodcut's graphic design and packaging design.Woodcut's graphic design combines the Chinese auspicious and traditional nuts to express the blessing of the good meaning and blessing.The Packaging is simple and elegant.Packaging is divided into gift packaging and retail packaging to provide more possibilities to consumers,according to the different functional and practical needs.After that,it is the production of the ductile material and the design of the website.Unified overall visual elements complete the other design contents of this brand.
