Since the reform and opening up,China's development has aroused widespread concern around the world in terms of social culture,policy and economy.Especially in the past decades,the trend of economic globalization has been strengthened,and the role and status of China in the international community have become more and more important.The international community has paid much more attention on China.On March 16,2016,after the closing ceremony of the Fourth People's Congress of the Twelfth National People's Congress and the Fourth Session of the Twelfth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference,Premier Li Keqiang met the reporters and answered their questions in the Great Hall.This press conference not only demonstrated China's social development,economic development and military strength to the world,but also clarified China's diplomatic and political strategies.The practice report is based on the interpretation of Prime Li Keqiang's answers to the questions of Chinese and foreign journalists at the press conference.The practice report is divided into four parts:the first part is a brief description of the introduction and background of this press conference and research purposes.The second part describes the process of consecutive interpreting simulation including the preparation phase and the data collection stage.The third part compares the collected interpretation with the interpretation of senior interpreters(ZhangLu)from the aspects of vocabularies,sentences and discourse.The fourth part summarizes the experience in interpretation,interpretation skills and strategies and the shortcomings of this simulation practice.
