In the market of Japan,it is rare to see a juvenile literature work which sells well in China,so there are not so much Japanese versions of them.A female translator named Izumi Kyoka has translated many Chinese contemporary literatures especially the juvenile literature works among which is the novel Cry Me A Sad River written by the pioneer of the juvenile literature Guo Jingming.The novel and bold style which is easily to be seen in a group of such writers bring challenges to translators.So the Japanese version of juvenile literature is worthwhile for translators as a guide.Taken the Japanese version of Cry Me A Sad River the bestseller of Guo Jingming as a target,contrasting the Japanese translation,this paper selects fragment of the original version,find the common characteristics of the problems faced by the juvenile literature translators and the emphasis of the concept of domestics and foriegnizations so that we can find the guidance in juvenile literature translations.This paper mainly talk about the juvenile literature translation in the traditional viewpoint of vocabulary,context and figure of speech.In the aspect of vocabulary,the author mainly talks about the words with personal style and cultural background like dialect colloquial words,onomatopoeia and so on;the author selects many forgrounding sentence with special form and writer's personal style such as elliptical sentence,loose sentence and so on;as for the figure of speech,the author mainly talk about text structure and the figure of speech.Through the contrast,conclusion and research of translation strategies,the author found that the problem can be solved by the domestication and foreignization translation theory which dealing with the difference between the source culture and target culture.The author believe the theory can play an important role in translating the juvenile literature representing by Cry Me A Sad River and hope such a conclusion can push forward the translation of contemporary literatures especially the juvenile literature with era characteristics to Japan and lead a new fashion among Japanese knowing more about Chinese youth.
