The north-south post road in the eastern foothill of Mountain Tai’hang is the post road of Luoyang northeast to Youzhou, connecting the central plain and the Hebei plain, since ancient times,it has been the main road of north-south transportation. Its prosperity has its own advantages, relative to the western foothill steep mountains and rough roads, the eastern foothill is flat, mostly on the alluvial fan of the Haihe river basin;Relative to the east great and frequently diverted rivers and swamps, the alluvial fan at the eastern foothill without flood waves, more livable and walking. Therefore, its transport functions are well developed. As the main thoroughfare to northeast of the ancient and modern times, the ancient capital were often built here. The Xia Dynasty was founded in Xihe in the period in Handan, the state of Yan was in JI.There were also Zhongshanguo,Xiangguo,Yecheng in the Eastern Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties the.The developed capital provides the soil for the poetry’s production and development. The ancient capitals carry the functions of shaping regional poets and influencing the ideas of the history of poetry. So its also carries rich cultural functions. In addition to that, there is also a unique political function in the eastern foothill of Mountain Tai’hang.Luoyang as the east capital in the Tang Dynasty,it integrates politics, economy and culture. And Youzhou as the north military center,it is a good place for scholars to build their own careers. In the middle-late Tang Dynasty,Fanzhen is more attractive to the Mufu scholars. And those who travel here, the vast majority of them are the men who chase the fame.Therefor, these functions of the ancient road also make it a "road to poetry".In addition,The An-Shi Rebellion as an important history of the Tang Dynasty from prosperity to decline, not only changes the face of the country, but also changes the state of the post road and the creation of poetry. This thesis is divided into four chapters:The first chapter:this chapter introduces the natural and cultural environment of theeastern foothill of Mountain Tai’hang in Tang Dynasty, which is divided into three sections.First,it traced the opening and development of the north-south post road with vertical vision. Before the Warring States Period was a preliminary period, the north-south post road began to take shape, but the number of cities communicating was limited.During the Warring States period, the north-south post road were forming, and gradually formed a north-south trend. In the Qin and Han Dynasties, the north-south post road have been shaped and extended northwards.Secondly,I take a horizontal view of the natural landscape and cultural landscape as a starting point, and explore the poetic attraction of the beautiful natural scenery on this road, and the profound cultural landscape stimulates the poet’s passion for creation and travel guarantees. The second chapter:this chapter introduces the road’s situation and poetry of the early Tang Dynasty, which is divided into three sections. In the background of the early Tang Dynasty, the north-south post road was in an unobstructed state. At this time, the poet went through the road by going on an expedition, roaming, and transferring officials. The content of poetry that come from this, included praising local attractions along the way, remuneration on the way,the burst of ideals. These poems also embodied the artistic qualities of regionalism, realism, and the bleakness of aesthetic emotions. The third chapter:this chapter introduces the road’s situation and poetry of the middle-late Tang Dynasty, which is divided into five sections. The An-Shi Rebelli changed the country’s situation, and he unimpeded state of the north-south post road was broken. On the one hand, frequent wars hindered traffic to some extent. But on the other hand, the town’s were a far greater attraction to the literati.the north-south post road were in self-contradiction.As a result,it had brought different appearances from various aspects during the early Tang Dynasty. At this time, the poetry mainly focused on the poet’s Ganye,,the creation around the “Fanzhen” system and poet’s communication, and then the emotional content also turned to praise the proprietor, hope to invoke, express the life and so on.The artistic quality wsa more concentrated in the expression of personal fate about the aesthetic melancholy, compared to the early Tang Dynasty, the breadth and depth were extended. And the meaning of the history of ancient history was also increasing. The station’spoetry also had increased. The fourth chapter: We discuss the north-south post road in the eastern foothill of Mountain Tai’hang from the overall view, which is divided into three sections. After the middle and late tang dynasty, the change of the political situation was changed, that forcing poets to seek different routes from the the north-south post road.Besides the north-south post road also have numerous water systems.Water and land combined to form a complex transportation network. It in turn promoted the creation of poetry by increasing opportunities for interaction between poets, which not only promoted the construction of poetic theory, but also facilitated the promotion of political career. As a result of the historical and cultural sense of the north-south post road and the expansion of space, the famous poems are also proof of the prosperity of transportation.
