The Research On JingZhou Miao Nation's Geteng Singing Art

Geteng is a kind of "the multi-musical part song of Miao" sung for thousands of years in Jingzhou County in the southwest of Hunan.Miao people love to sing,this old song which runs through all kinds of activities in the Miao people.It is the Miao people imitating the sound of birds,cicadas,water,Lin Tao and other natural "harmony" gradually evolved.Geteng is a kind of original ecological culture,rooted in the Miao millennium history of soil and daily life environment,which reflects Miao people's spirit,culture,thought,emotion in the area of Qiaoli.It is also regarded as the outstanding cultural essence of Miao.Geteng is rich in content,beautiful melody.At present,in Jingzhou as the center of Qiaoli area still has a considerable amount of cultural foundation,but also formed a special way of singing in the process of accumulation.This kind of singing art also has the distinctive characteristics of the traditional music of ethnic minorities,which is worth exploring and studying.The object of this research paper is "Miao nation's Geteng"in Jingzhou,its purpose is to let more people know and understand the art form and the charm of Geteng.By reading papers and related materials,the author found that the previous studies are mostly about the discussion of Geteng music ontology aspects,less involved in the features of singing arts.This paper tries to focus on the characteristics of its singing art,and put forward my own views on its development and heritage.This thesis mainly includes the following aspects:the first part is introduction,will make a description of the research object and meaning,research contents and methods,and the present situation.The second part is the general situation of Geteng,analyze the causes at first,and then discuss its evolution and development,followed by its cultural connotation.The third part is to analyze the musical form features,the genre and its contents of Geteng in turn,and the analysis of the common mode and its characteristic with the related music theoretical knowledge.The fourth part mainly focuses on the singing characteristics,to explore its unique national characteristics and artistic value according to the singing form,singing skills.The last part is to summary its features of style,which include the use of the technique,the relationship between singing and language,the influence of local folklore on its style,and the understanding of its style more clearly.Finally,the conclusion is about its protection,inheritance and development.
