Translation Practice Report On Corporate News From The Perspective Of Communicative Translation Theory

With the development of economic globalization,foreign trade is becoming more and more frequent.Domestic companies are actively expanding their own influence in overseas markets,so the translation of relevant information about a company is particularly important.In addition to the company profile,company's news can dynamically show the company's basic information and spirit.Accordingly,communicative translation method is applicable to the translation of news which falls into the type of informative text.In this report,the author combines the theory of communicative translation with the translation of company's news,and analyzes the translation of company's news with the principle of communicative translation theory.The study of this translation case is mainly from words level and sentence level of news text.It is a prominent characteristic of the news text to be used simple and concise words.There are fixed sentences and commonly used sentence patterns.According to the special linguistic features of news,in the process of translation,a lot of translation strategies will be applied to,such as amplification,inversion,literal translation and free translation,and so on.Therefore,in the process of news text translation,translator is in a position to exert their subjectivity by adopting flexible translation strategies and techniques to translate news words and sentence under the guidance of communicative theory.
