In this study,485 students,from two secondary schools in Da'an City of Jilin Province,were selected as research subjects.Subjects were investigated using the SelfRating Adolescent Life-Event Scale,Social Support Rating Scale and Thanksgiving Scale for Middle School Students.The data collected were independently Sample t test,correlation analysis and intermediary test,the following conclusions:(1)The study pressure and interpersonal dimension in senior high school students' life events have significant gender differences,and their score is significantly higher than that of boys;each dimension is significant in whether they are only children,school type and whether they are class cadres.(2)Social support for high school students is significantly different in terms of gender,whether they are singletons,school type and whether they are class cadres.(3)High school students are grateful for gender differences,whether they are singletons,school type or whether they are class cadres.(4)There is a significant positive correlation between life dimensions of senior high school students and all dimensions of social support and gratitude.There is a significant positive correlation between social support and each dimension of gratitude.(5)Social support plays a partial mediating role in all dimensions of high school life events and gratitude.
