The purpose of this study is to explore the specific relationship among achievement motivation,study engagement,academic achievement of nursing students in secondary vocational school,to strengthen the guidance of achievement motivation,to go a step further to enhance level of study engagement,so as to improve the level of academic achievement.To solve this problem,the scale of achievement motivation,study engagement and academic achievement measurement questionnaire were used,500 nursing students in secondary vocational school of Heilongjiang province were surveyed.Based on the scale collected,descriptive statistical analysis,t-test,one-factor ANOVA,correlation analysis,mediation effect test and so on are conducted.The results show as followings.(1)Nursing students in secondary vocational school have lower scores on achievement motivation and the dimension of the pursuit of success and avoiding failure.On the demographic variables,there is no significant difference in gender,only child-non only child and single parent-non single parent;achievement motivation and the dimension of the pursuit of success show significant difference in class cadres-non class cadres;achievement motivation shows significant difference in education level of father.(2)Study engagement of nursing students in secondary vocational school is mild engagement.On the demographic variables,study engagement and the dimension of vigor and concentration show significant difference in education level of mother.(3)Academic achievement of nursing students in secondary vocational school is moderate degree.In the demographic variables,there is no significant difference in gender,only child-non only child and single parent-non single parent on academic achievement;there is significant difference in class cadres-non class cadres on academic achievement;there is significant difference in education level of mother.(4)There is a significant positive correlation for nursing students in secondary vocational school between achievement motivation and study engagement;there is a significant positive correlation between study engagement and academic achievement;there is a significant positive correlation between achievement motivation and academic achievement.(5)Study engagement of nursing students in secondary vocational school has a partial mediating effect in the influence of achievement motivation on academic achievement.Based on the above empirical research,suggestions are made to provide on the problems and deficiencies in the achievement motivation,study engagement,academic achievement of nursing students in secondary vocational school,so as to improve academic achievement.
