The paper discussed the applied research of elementary spoken Chinese teaching under the horizon of Performed Culture Approach,and the pedagogy that originated at Ohio State University is mainly deemed as the theoretical guidance of this paper,and it also combined the theory with the classroom practice report.The practice has proveb that such pedagogy has achieved very good result.Meanwhile,it can also stimulate students' enthusiasm for Chinese,so then in the primary stage it will build their confidence.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part mainly introduced the origin and significance of the research topic.And it summarized from two aspects that include the Applied Research of Performed Culture Approach and the Applied Research of Teaching Spoken Chinese to Speakers of Another Language.The second part carefully discussed the ontology theory of Performed Culture Approach.And it comprehensively discussed the origin and development of the pedagogy,the basic teaching principles,the five elements of a “performance” and the teaching strategy.The third part is about the applied research of Performed Culture Approach in the elementary spoken Chinese.Firstly,it made a objective analysis of many terrible phenomenon of elementary spoken Chinese teaching.And it preliminarily discussed the feasibility and necessity of the pedagogy.Then the part indicated the key points and difficult points of Performed Culture Approach.At last,it discussed the suitable teaching methods for elementary oral Chinese courses under the pedagogy.The fourth part introduced one case report to teach elementary oral Chinese by Performed Culture Approach.It proposed detailed solutions according to the problems in the teaching.And it was divided in to three parts.It mainly includes the pre-class teaching plans,the lectures notes of executing processes and effect,some reflection summary and suggestion about the classes.
