The Expression Of Fish Pattern In Modern Pottery

Chinese traditional patterns is broad and profound,of which the fish-pattern has been inherited for more than six thousand years in the long history.The fish-pattern is an important part of Chinese traditional culture and the precipitation of human culture,containing the rich connotation and cultural ideology.It usually means the auspiciousness,which is a significant form for people to express their emotion,fulled with a vision of the future life.The fish-pattern is provided a variety of possibilities with experiencing a long period of development history,from the emergence on the painted pottery in the primitive society to the application in modern art works.This paper follows the cule of the performance of fish-pattern in the ceramic art during different historical periods.According to the characteristics of modern life,views are described with the analysis from the view of the modern design,and some original fish-pattern are created with applying vavious ways,forming appearance of epochal significance.
