The Narrative Function Study Of Animation Scenes

With the rapid development of Internet technology and computer,the animation industry usher in a new spring.People in the animation industry are full of imagination and vision.Huge market space and requirements demand,and rapid development of new media animation techniques push a wave of entrepreneurship.In 1960s,China produced many good animation works characterized Chinese culture.The famous "Monkey King","bible adventures" and other animation works were famous in and out of China.However,with facing the rapid animation development in European and American countries as well as Japan and South Korea,we have to consider the research and development of Chinese animation industry.In many animation works,scene design is just used to paint the background,such as in Chinese cartoon named the "son with big head and the dad with small head".What's worse,many related workers only realize the function of scene design.This is actually partial.In fact,it is not only used to paint the background,but also show the story line for the film and television animation,perform plot conflict and character contradictory,and portray personalities.Overall,the animation scene is a time and space plastic art for completing perfect film and television animations.This thesis analyzes the requirements and artistic application of animation scene design.For example,the short film "Dream · Mirror" reveals the production process of a complete animated short,and the key point is the method of animation scenes design,including script analysis,data gathering,theme tone mastering,appropriate shape form choosing,background and geographical features understanding,main scene decision,details of the scene design and sketches drawingThe thesis discusses the design and production of "Dream Mirror" and analyzes the artistic design of animation scene in the animated films,including art scene structure,time reflection,time and space design,character design,props design and so on.Animation scene design,combines spatial organization,principles of modeling language and et al for constructing certain artistic image,providing huge space for representation and performance of video animation,it is the soul of animation.From artistic representation of the scene design to narrative function reflection,the thesis focuses on studying and analyzing the scene function,perfectly combines artistic and narrativity into the scene design.
