A Comparative Study On The Revision Of Psychological Entries In The Modern Chinese Dictionary

"Modern Chinese Dictionary" is China's first medium-sized normative language dictionary.Promoting Putonghua and promoting the standardization of modern Chinese is the principle of the "Modern Chinese Dictionary".It consciously assumes the mission of specification language and promotion Chinese language teaching.The revisions of the ancient editions have condensed the wisdom and painstaking effort of the dictionary workers.This article explores the maturity and development of the revision of psychological terms in "Modern Chinese Dictionary" from the perspective of diachronic,which was published and revised from 1977 to 2016 nearly half a century.This article selects the psychological terms of the "Modern Chinese Dictionary" as a research object.Thecomparinganalysis and research were carried out from the three aspects of collecting words,explanations,and illustrations of the collected psychological entriesandsummarizes the characteristics of the revision and influencing factors.Through the diachronic study of the revision of psychological entries in the "Modern Chinese Dictionary",we have explored the Science and Standardization terms of the revision of the "Modern Chinese Dictionary".The first chapter is the revised research on the establishment of the lexical collection of the psychological entries in the "Modern Chinese Dictionary".First of all,the definition of entries and morphological norms are determined,through the exhaustive analysis of psychological entries.Secondly,the reasons for their “into or out”of the “Modern Chinese Dictionary” were analyzed,with the addition and deletion of mental words in each edition as the main material.Finally,we compare the heteromorphy words in the psychological terms with the standard word forms commonly used in the country to determine the specification of the mental term morphology.The second chapter is the revision study of the interpretation of psychological terms in the historical versions of “Modern Chinese Dictionary”.The interpretation of psychological terms is explained from two aspects: interpretation and interpretation.In terms of paraphrasing methods,the existing paraphrasing methods of psychological entries are summarized,and the revised features and changes of paraphrase methods are summarized.In terms of interpretation content,a detailed analysis was made from theperspective of lexical semantics such as basic meaning,accompaniment,and semantic domain.The third chapter is the revision study of the edition of mental clauses in "Modern Chinese Dictionary".The article discusses the form,content and language of psychological entry examples.Through the choice of different example forms and contents,the "Modern Chinese Dictionary" as a normative language dictionary is shown in the choice of specifications.The fourth chapter is the study of the characteristics and influencing factors of the revised edition of psychological entries in the "Modern Chinese Dictionary".Firstly,the article compares the amendments of the first three chapters of the collection of terms,interpretations,and examples of psychological words,and summarizes the characteristics of its revision,that is,the descriptive and normative aspects are unified,and the systematisms and conciseness are unified.Next,the main factors influencing its revision will be discussed furtherfrom the subjective world,the objective world,and the linguistic world “the three world theories of the dictionary”The fifth chapter is the problems of the revision of the psychological entries in the Chinese Dictionary of modern Chinese.The article,put forward their own opinions or suggestions on the individual issues encountered in the process of revision from the aspect of word recognition and interpretation,under the premise of fully affirming the norms and achievements of the revised edition of psychological clauses.We expect to contribute to the revision of the later versions of the psychological entry in the "Modern Chinese Dictionary".
