The future orientation is the individual plan and imagination of the future,which is an important aspect of self-development.The future orientation of high school students not only has a positive effect to the health of individual behavior and academic performance,but also affects high school students psychological social adaptation.The domestic high school career guidance is attracting the attention of many researchers in recent years.This study is based on the theory of CIP to design experiential career complementary scheme,thus enriching career group auxiliary scheme design research,and exploring the intervention effect of the scheme for high school students' future orientation.This study used Nurmi youth future orientation questionnaire translated and revised by Ling Ling Zhang et al in 2005,the questionnaire was based on the process of the future orientation which proposed by Nurmi to study three dimensions of teenagers' future orientation:motivational process,planning process and evaluation process.This study includes two parts:the first part is the characteristics of high school students' career maturity and future orientation and the relationship between them,the second part is the intervention study on the future orientation of high school students which use experiential career counseling based on the theory of the CIP.Through statistical analysis of the two parts of research data,the result shows:1.the future orientation of high school students exist significant differences in variables,such as grade,gender,academic and student nationalities.2.high school students' career maturity development exist a tendency to rise from senior grade one to grade two,and downward trend from senior grade two to grade three.3.there exists relevant relationship between career maturity and future orientation of high school students.4.after implementing the group guidance,the experimental group has significant improvement in the future investment dimension of education field,in the future exploration dimension,the future investment dimension and the open dimension of career field,in the future investment dimension of marriage and family field.Conclusions:the experiential career counseling which based on the theory of the CIP can effectively promote the development of high school students' future orientation.
