High school students face the pressure of college entrance examination and arduous learning tasks, however, their learning motivation is not satisfactory. Previous studies have shown that career maturity is significantly related to learning motivation and has a significant predictive effect on learning motivation. Based on the study of the relationship between career maturity and learning motivation, this study improves the students' career maturity through career counseling and intervention, at the same time, it improves the motivation of learning.This study is divided into two parts:Study 1: A questionnaire survey was conducted on 249 high school students, from the demographic variables, it studied gender differences and the only child differences between career maturity and learning motivation of high school students, to verify the relationship between career maturity and learning motivation.Study 2: 63 senior students of elective counseling classes were selected as experimental groups and they had a seven-week career counseling program. Besides,another 63 high school students were randomly selected as the control group.The study draws the following conclusions: First, the high school students'occupational maturity is at a moderate level. Second, different gender high school students in the professional maturity of the utilitarian dimension of significant differences,and boys are significantly higher than girls. There is a significant difference between the one - child and the non - only - child of high school students in the occupational maturity score, professional self - knowledge, professional world knowledge and independence dimension, and only children are significantly more than non-only-child children. Thirdly,the motivation of high school students is generally moderate. Fourthly, high school boys and girls in the skills scenes, sports scenes, to promote the tension and avoid the failure of the motive dimension difference significantly. In the skills scene and avoid the failure of the motivation dimension, the girls are significantly higher than the boys, in the sports scene and promote the tension dimension, the boys are significantly higher than the girls.Fifth, the professional self-knowledge and the success of the total score, social life scenes,to promote the tension, their own responsibility is significantly positive correlation;professional world knowledge and social life scenes, to promote tension,their responsibility is significantly positive; There is a significant positive correlation between the independence and the tension of the promotion; the stability and the learning of the learning scene, the promotion of the tension, the responsibility of their own Sexuality and skills scenes, sports scenes, social life scenes, the promotion of tension, their own responsibility, the requirements of the standard, the success of the positive The total score of the occupational maturity is negatively correlated with the motivation of avoiding the failure. Sixth, career counseling to improve the student's career maturity and learning motivation. Professional self-knowledge, self-confidence, knowledge learning scenes,promotion of anxiety, a significant increase in their own responsibility, utilitarian, to avoid the failure of a significant decline in motivation.
