The cultivation of creative talents in preschool education is particularly important for the development of the country and the school education,and the creative tendency and achievement motivation play important roles in the cultivation of creativity.In the actual education and teaching,cultivating the students’achievement motivation and creativity has always been a problem for educators.Creative tendency is a psychological tendency to promote students’ creative behavior,and it is one of the elements of creativity.Achievement motivation is the core content of non-intelligent factors,and plays an important role on people’s behaviors and achievements.In the current study,college students majoring in preschool education were asked to assess their achievement motivation and creative tendency,twice during the one-year follow-up study.The results showed:1.The total scores of achievement motivation for pre-school students increased significantly.There was no significant difference in the pursuit of success score between the first and second tests,while avoiding failure score decreased significantly.2.The total scores of the creative tendencies was not significant between the first and second tests.However,the risk-taking and imagination significantly improved.3.There was a significantly positive correlation between the first and second achievement motivation both on the total scores and the sub-dimension scores.Furthermore,the creative tendencies and their sub-dimensions of the two measurements also showed a significantly positive correlation.These results showed that the achievement motivation and creative tendency of pre-school students were stable.4.The achievement motivation of college students had positively predictive effect on their creative tendencies,mainly for creative tendencies,and the creative tendencies had no significantly predictive effect on their achievement motivation.
