Research On The Design Of Contemporary Celadon Tea Ware

Based on the previous research,this article takes the Longquan Kiln as an example to further study the design intention and function of celadon tea sets.It is believed that Chinese people's enthusiasm for tea drinking is an important reason why tea sets can be inherited in the historical evolution.The functionality and practicality of tea sets are the primary considerations for designers in the course of designing tea sets.This article discussed the origin and the development of Longquan celadon,at the same time it also elaborated and analyzed in detail about the history of tea culture,the development history of tea sets and their functions combined with relevant historical documents.The previous researches on tea sets mainly focused on the comparative analysis of the differences in the functional design of tea sets and some of which had involved aesthetic content,while it is assumed that scholars have made great progress in the research on modern tea sets.Then subsequently,from the specific component of the tea set,such as tea cups,tea pots,etc.we analyzed the concept of the tea set design,examined the lotus leaf pattern and the lotus petal pattern of the Longquan celadon while taking lotus petals as an element,and then elaborated the practical application of the lotus leaf pattern and the lotus pattern in the modern tea set.In the end,the reason for the selection of the graduation design work,the idea and the completion process were described.Through the investigation of the geographical environment,humanities and social environment of Longquan Kiln,as well as the exploration of the development of local ceramic industry,Longquan celadon tea products that meet the modern people's pursuit of aesthetics and quality of life will be designed properly.
