The modern society has entered a period of rapid development,and material life is becoming more abundant.However,the interaction between people is decreasing.Loneliness has become a common problem for people.The theme of studying people's loneliness is imperative.The secondary school students,who are mostly between the ages of 15 to 18,are in this special stage of adolescence.The physical,psychological,and social development of the individual is becoming mature,students will experience varying degrees of loneliness.At present,there are no definitive models for the intervention and treatment of loneliness.Interventions at home and abroad are mainly targeted at individuals.They focus on cognitive change,personality factors,attribution methods,behavior shaping,and group counseling,individual counseling.Group counseling has the advantages of various forms,vividness and interest.This article uses group counseling to intervene in loneliness.In this article,senior high school students and secondary school students were investigated and studied to understand the loneliness status of the two students in the same age group,and to explore the differences between the loneliness level of high school students and secondary school students.Based on the current survey,individuals with high levels of loneliness were screened out and interviewed to explore the factors that affect loneliness and coping strategies.According to the characteristics of the students,the author compiles group counseling programs and intervenes to achieve the goal of reducing the loneliness level of secondary school students.After the intervention,through interviews and questionnaire surveys,students' understanding of the effectiveness of group activities and their satisfaction with group activities were understood.In the first study,300 high school students and 300 secondary school students were randomly selected to conduct a questionnaire survey.Study 2 Based on the findings of Study 1,20 students were selected as subjects,and were randomly divided into experimental group and control group.The experimental group conducted group counseling and the control group performed normal classes.Three months later,the experimental group was postponed and tested to explore the sustainability of group counseling.Research indicates:(1)There is a high degree of loneliness among high school students and secondary school students,and the degree of loneliness of secondary school students is higher than that of high school students.(2)After group counseling intervention in the experimental group,the level of loneliness in the experimental group was significantly lower than before the experiment.Compared with the control group,there was also significant effect,which proved that the group counseling had certain results.(3)It can be known from the effect of group activities and group activity satisfaction that the group counseling program developed has played a certain role in improving students with high levels of loneliness.(4)By delaying posttesting,it can be seen that group counseling is effective in reducing the loneliness level of secondary school students,and can continue to play a role,which provides a certain practical basis for mental health education.
