Idols have increasingly strong influence on spiritual life and personality development of middle school students in their own way.Idolatry as a common phenomenon in the secondary education,has causes many social problems and psychological problems,which has attracted attention from majority of sociologists and educators.More and more people realized that Idolatry amount secondary school students is not only a social issue resulted from culture,education and the media,but also an essential psychological phenomenon of secondary school students.In recent years,with effect from a variety of Internet and social culture,pop stars are extremely popular among secondary students and the idols have become a part of their lives.The transition period between childhood and adulthood for Junior high school students is also the critical period to build up their personality.What is the relationship between Idolatry and mentality of junior high school students,how to make idolatry a positive impact during the growth of junior high school students,helping them to form perfect personality,is undoubtedly an important issue of secondary school mental health education.This study adopt junior high school students as the research object,through research on current situation of junior high school students' idolatry and self-awareness,to explore the relationship between idolatry and self-awareness.Also the level of self-awareness of junior high school students can be improved through psychological intervention in order to form the correct idolatry values,providing a reference for future education idolatry.This essay is divided into five parts: The first part is the literature review,mainly on idolatry,theoretical knowledge and research status of related self-consciousness;the second part is to put up with the research question and make overall assumptions;the third part through questionnaires and data summary analysis of today's junior high school students' idolatry and self-awareness situation and to further explore the relationship between idolatry and self-conscious;the effectiveness of the intervention group is proved in the fourth part by use of group counseling intervention study and investigation on the effect of the intervention.The last part is to make the conclusion,and discuss the deficiency of the study and future expectation.
