The Modern Transformation Of Spirit Of Mononoaware

In the background of global modernization and invasion of Western civilization,oriental culture has been challenged by the crisis of subjectivity in the process of modern transformation.However,Mononoaware —Japanese traditional aesthetic spirit—successfully gets out of this universal modern predicament,which still participates in and profoundly influences the construction of modern Japanese culture.The modern process of Japanese culture is a closer one for China to refer.As a result,to the problems of how dose nowadays China position its culture and form the cultural subjectivity facing the world it is very significant to discuss the modern transformation of Mononoaware spirit.The purpose of this paper is to discuss the reason that Mononoaware can break through the modernity predicament and become an important part of modern Japanese culture,in terms of the connotation of Mononoaware and the process of Japanese modernity,through the great vision of Japanese modern cultural history and vertically contrasting the three important stages in the modern transformation of Mononoaware in the process of Japanese modernization.We can find that the main reason is that Mononoaware maintains a clear subject consciousness of culture and realizes the modern transformation based on traditional culture.The innovation of this paper is the comprehensive utilization of methods and horizons of multidisciplinary research,and studying the modernity of Mononoaware from the perspective of the transformation and rebuilding of modern cultural spirits.
