| A large number of conjunctions are weakened into discourse markers in modern Chinese spoken language,"So" is one of the representatives.In addition to the clauses used to connect causality,the conjunction "so" also has the function of discourse markers.From the previous study,the pragmatic function and formation mechanism of the discourse marker "so" has not yet been fully studied.On the basis of previous studies,this paper attempts to conduct a comprehensive and systematic study of discourse markers "so" by combining description with explanation.The following are the main chapters of this article:Chapter one: introduction.This chapter mainly describes the significance of the topic of this article,research status,as well as the object of the study,theory,methods and the source of the corpus.The research status is mainly the study of discourse markers at home and abroad,and the literature of the study of "so" of discourse markers is summarized and analyzed.Chapter two: On the basis of previous studies,the author describes the pragmatic functions of "so" before and after weakening.The conjunction "so" is to express causality,inference and evaluation function before weakening.Subsequently,the conjunction "so" gradually weakened under the influence of high frequency use in spoken language,and the truth value semantic relationship expressed in the dialogue gradually weakened,showing different pragmatic functions.There are four types of semantic types: summary,evaluation,emphasis and explanation.Therefore,the cohesive function presented after the weakening of the conjunctions is mainly used in the oral communication,which is mainly manifested as preemption,transfer,and continuation.Chapter three: This chapter analyzes the pragmatic functions of discourse marker "so" in oral discourse from three aspects: discourse organization,interpersonal interaction and contextual adaptation.The three functions of discourse markers "so",play a role in the process of communication,it reflects the cognitive ability of the communicative subject in the course of communication and embodies the control of meta pragmatic consciousness when the speaker makes the choice of language.Chapter four: This chapter mainly analyzes the origin of the discourse marker "so" and the causes and mechanisms of its formation.The discourse marker "so" is first made up from the Prepositional Structure to the causality conjunctions,and because of the causality conjunctions "so" in Chinese spoken language in the use of high-frequency derived from the empty function of discourse markers.The motivation of the formation of discourse marker "so" is mainly subjective and interactive subjectivization.The formation mechanism of discourse marker "so" is mainly reanalysis and pragmatic inference.Chapter five: This chapter summarizes the full text. |
