The Irony Art In Liu Zhenyun's Novels

As a famous contemporary Chinese writer,Liu Zhenyun has been writing for more than 30 years since 1982.His novels present a distinct phase character.The new realistic novels have written all the trivial and troubling aspects of the ordinary people's life with his unique perspective;The new historical novels have showed his unique understanding of history;The new century novels have described the lonely nature of the character in the background of urban life.Throughout all the works of Liu zhenyun,the irony has become the stylistic style of his novels.However,in the current academic research,most of the researches analyze the irony art of his novels just at the text level,the definition of the historic irony is only "the literal meaning against actual meaning",seldom involve the in-depth analysis of the irony as a whole.Therefore the author believes that we should focus on the irony of novels in different stages,explore the peculiarity and the value of irony of Liu Zhenyun's works.This thesis attempts to study the whole novels of Liu Zhenyun from the perspective of irony which is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction which covers the researches of Liu Zhenyun and his novels,the current research,the historical rheology and the basic interpretation of irony;The second,third and fourth chapters will explore the specific irony techniques,characteristics and meanings of each stage from three aspects of speech,narration and general irony;In the conclusion part,the irony art will be summarized and the universality of irony will be deepened.Through the micromesh exploration of the irony,this paper believes that the new realistic novels are famous for the "zero narrative".Under the calm and objective naturalism,the use of irony expresses the author's sympathy and scan on the alienation of the small potato;The new historical novels are famous for its parody irony.In the post-modernism writing of gamification,destruction and dissociation,The inertial logic of history is criticized and satirized directly and intensively;The new century novels are famous for its absurd structural irony,compared with the former two,the irony is more intuitionistic,thorough-paced and enlightened.All in all,in order to alleviate the heavy burden of the innermost being,the ironic narration is the most effective way for Liu Zhenyun to evade the pursuit.From the above,it is hoped that this paper can do some basic work to the theory and practice of irony for Liu Zhenyun's novels and even the Chinese and foreign novels.
