The report studies the project for translating 2015 Qingdao Government Work Report(Excerpt).The report falls into four chapters: Chapter One is task description;Chapter Two is process description which includes preparation before translation,translation process,modification;Chapter Three is concrete case analysis under the guidance of Eco-translatology;Last Chapter is the final conclusion.In the report,on the basis of micro-level Eco-translatology that is the theory of adaptive transformation from linguistic,cultural and communicative dimensions,the author discusses about solving the problems encountered at text level by choosing diversified expression,employing methods of solving noun plague,discussing right logic in sentence translation,avoiding cultural misunderstanding,filling up cultural blank,using rhetoric and complementary translation and rewriting.At the same time,guided by meso-level of the Eco-translatology,the author discusses about translator's professional quality which is adapting to the political translational eco-environment better,translation's “survival of the fittest” and certain and positive impacts of the translation.The report shows that the translator needs to have a comprehensive understanding to the whole project by paying attention to all stages of the project and taking all the elements in the translational eco-environment into consideration.The author hopes that the report can provide some valuable experience for the translators who render political documents in text transformation and keeping professional quality at every stage of the process of translation.
