Since the cooperation between the Thai Vocational Education Commission and NOCFL,the teaching of Chinese has developed very well in vocational and technical colleges.So far,thousands of vocational and technical colleges in Thailand have offered Chinese courses,and the policy of"Maritime Silk Road"adopted by China in the 21~stt century has further promoted the popularization of Chinese teaching in Thailand.However,from the general direction of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the Chinese teaching in vocational and technical colleges is still in its infancy.The vocational and technical Colleges have just offered Chinese classes,so,they unfamiliar with the establishment,operation and management of Chinese courses,and it is the first time for most Chinese teachers to teach Chinese as a foreign language.So,there are many problems in the development of Chinese teaching in vocational and technical colleges.Based on ten months'teaching experience of the author in Thailand,analyzing the Errors of Chinese learners from the aspects of phonetics,vocabulary,grammar and Chinese characters through field investigation and classroom observation.And analyzing the general reasons such as negative transfer of mother tongue,negative transfer of Chinese,and negative transfer of cultural factors,subjective reasons of students and teachers,and objective reasons of curriculum management and learning environment.Finally,the author puts forward a series of measures from the perspective of schools and teachers in view of the errors of elementary Chinese learners in Suphanburi Technical College,including schools should design the curriculum reasonably,formulate a scientific and reasonable syllabus,select Chinese materials with“five characters”,set up a standard evaluation system.And teachers should use teaching strategies correctly,design the normative teaching activity,use contrastive analysis to teach Chinese,inspire students to use correct learning strategies and communicative strategies on the basis of motivating their learning motivation,and pay attention to the spread of cultural knowledge.Through these countermeasures,the author hopes that can reduce the occurrence of errors in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and promote the development of Chinese Teaching in Thai vocational education.
