In an ageing society in the information age,people are beginning to pay more attention to older audiences.Drugs as a special commodity in daily life have a wide audience,but at present,there are no special considerations for such special groups as old-age audiences when designing drug packaging.Due to the physiological aging of the eyes of aging audiences,visual recognition obstacles have resulted in low visibility of pharmaceutical packaging information.In order to solve the problem of low visibility of information in drug packaging design,the topic has drawn from the visual features of aging audiences.As a starting point,based on the characteristics of visual communication of information on drug package design information transmission and information visualization,a study was conducted on the visual design of information for pharmaceutical packaging.First of all,from the drug packaging and information visualization design,find out the key points that can change the efficiency of information communication,and define the concepts and characteristics after the combination of the two.Then,from an in-depth analysis of the aging audience,it is concluded that the reason for the low visibility of the elderly when reading packaging information is due to the visual characteristics produced by the aging of the eye's physiology.Through the analysis of the current situation and limitations of drug packaging design,it was found that The fundamental way to solve the problem of low visibility of information is to use information visual design combined with drug packaging information display,thus improving the existing packaging visual design form.Thirdly,we propose further principles for the visual design of pharmaceutical packaging information.Starting from the visual,operational,and visual needs of older audiences,we propose a summary of the design requirements for visual communication of pharmaceutical information.Finally,the relevant design methods that can meet the visual needs of the aging audience are summed up.Through the combing of various design elements of fonts,graphics,colors,and layouts,the design methods are proposed from the information visual,visual identification and packaging structure of drug packaging design.To achieve rapid,accurate,and effective visual communication between drug information and the audience,to help older people obtain,understand,and memorize relevant information about drugs,to meet the visual needs of drug audiences for information,and to enhance drug packaging information transfer capabilities in related theories and Provide reference content in practice.
