The Research On Internet Populism

Internet populism is a kind of communication practice of the network. It is a new populist, namely, netizens want to achieve political appeal of populist to express their views and emotions based on an event, and then seek voice through the Internet.There are three kinds of contexts in the form of network populism: patriotic, cultural consumption and network politics populism. The three forms have both inherent and common features, and have their own features. Because of the promotion of political interests and the need of the legalizati on of political rule, the Internet has its inevitability. Internet populism has many appearances, but its essence is mainly reflected on four aspects. Mainly for dissatisfaction with the mainstream ideology of nihilism, such as dissatisfaction with the gov ernment and officials behavior, or dissatisfaction with the mainstream elite and elite culture; it advocates the absolute equality of anarchy, advocating the supremacy of morality and the supre macy of the civilian interest; it is an extreme democratic ideal, because the demands of direct participation in politics, it is easy to produ ce the tyranny of most people; it is a tool of the political movement, through which to express the political demands, in order to compete for political discourse. It can play t he role of supervision and authority of the elite, not only to enhance the populace discourse to a certain extent, but als o to help disadvantaged people create conditions conducive to realize new public domain. However, it is undeniable that due to its use of non resistance and rational users mobilization, it also brings negative effects, such as prone to irrational network mob, and subvert the authority, to the network government bring a lot of trouble.With the development of network of populism, the stat e can strengthene the regulations of the Internet and the moral construction of the network, to the interests of users be reasonable to divert, actively do a good job in ready to deal with the negative effect of populism, the benign beneficial direction to wards the development, guide the positive value to get maximum play, take to maintain and consolidate its legitimacy, it can be helpful to the healthy development of democratic politics.
