Research On The Western Mainstream Values Of Contemporary Youth

Nowadays,globalization and information technology have became the trend of the times,with the acceleration process of economic globalization,some western developed capitalist country hold an absolute advantage,pushed to promote western mainstream values to the world with its powerful economic strength and advanced information technologies as the basis,particularly,they penetrated western mainstream values to the youth group of developing countries.Because of their own psychological development characteristics and the rapid development of information technology on the internet,young people in this period are more strongly affected by western mainstream values.With influx of western mainstream values,contemporary youth's sense of vision and thinking are to broaden and improved,however,the negative ideas of western mainstream values also deeply influenced contemporary youth and their lifestyle.Therefore,when we face to this complex situation,we cannot totally deny the western mainstream values or accept fully without thinking,we need to identify the connotation of current western mainstream values correctly,and guide the youth's perspective ideas actively,boycott and decrease negative thoughts on the youth group and help young people establish a positive life goals and lofty ideals.In view of the above problems,the study is drawing on communication theory and other related disciplines,from the following aspects of research on comprehensive analysis: firstly,analysis the basic theory.This paper first analysis the concept and characteristics of western mainstream values,based on this,I will further analysis the concept and connotation of western mainstream values.Then,analysis on theoretical basis of western mainstream values based on the characteristics of modern youth and communication theory,finally I will comb the basic process and basic features of western mainstream values systematically.Secondly,empirical analysis of the survey.By mean of questionnaires,analysis the content,channel,abject,and environment of penetration process of western mainstream values,explain the double effect of western mainstream values on contemporary youth,mainly survey the specific performance of western mainstream values on contemporary youth,including active and negative effect,especially for negative effect,I will analysis it frompenetration subject,penetration object,penetration content,penetration environment and penetration ways.Thirdly,study on corresponding measures.In terms of negative effect and specific penetration process of western mainstream values on youth group,I propose "take" and "output" ideas of all-inclusive,then,build core socialist values system training mechanism of common collaboration by "points-line-surface" three aspects,last through science and technology,we must improve the level of science regulation for internet information,build network security system.Therefore,I put forward corresponding requirements and preliminary defense measures in the view of "concept-mechanism-technology",this paper made a useful discussion on how to help contemporary youth groups to deal with the negative influence of western mainstream values and set up the correct values.
