Studyon Public Reason Spirit In Contemporary Chinese Youth

Public rational spirit as "class consciousness" of human beings,which is the product of public use of human beings' rational.Analysizing from four-dimensional of "National-Public life-well-ordered society-citizens",we can drawn from that public rational spirit is the spiritual home of political state,is the spiritual quality of public life,is the spiritual quality of well-ordered society,is the civic competence of active citizens.Based on rational and public "strong-weak" standard,we can see that public rational spirit has strong public resistance and strong rational qualities and therefore different from the public spirit,the spirit and the rational spirit.Public rational spirit in the time dimension can be divided into three types,including pre-modern public rational spirit,modern public rational spirit and postmodern public rational spirit;in the spatial dimension also can be divided into the three types,including the public rational spirit of national political,the public rational spirit of the public sphere and the public rational private sphere.At the functional level,the public rational spirit has the function of generating public personality,the function of maintaining public life,the function of getting public goals,the function of mediating public interests.Using a combination of methods exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis of "Contemporary Chinese Youth Public Rational Spirit Measurement Scale",we can get the public rational spirit "five-factor structure" �composed of consciousness,collective consciousness,public rules consciousness,public responsibility consciousness and political participation consciousness.In summary,based on existing research,from interpersonal factors,field factors,symbols factors and media factors to specific and detailed factors,thereby preparing the scale factors.Using structural equation modeling analysis,obtained by the rational spirit of youth public interpersonal factors,factors affecting field,symbolic factor and media factor of four factors.Specifically,in line with the factors and interpersonal factors on youth public rational spirit has a direct effect,field factor and media factor for young public rational spirit have an indirect effect.Youth Public rational spirit is a result of many factors in the role of direct and indirect effects of the effect.In the cultivation of contemporary spiritual nurture our youth public reason,both should be based on subjective category of contemporary youth,but it also based on the reasonable connotation of public rational spirit,but also to grasp the situation of youth practice and spiritual content of public reason "intermediary factor","mediation mechanism".Specifically,by cultivating awareness of citizenship,to achieve the structural development of the youth public rational spirit;grasping civic education as the main ways to achieve spiritual level of public reason youth development;using of deliberative democracy as reality means to achieve overall development of youth public rational spirit.
