Juvenile Community Correction Exploration Of Longgang District, Shenzhen City

With 30 years' development of the reform and opening up, the social environment and structure of China is undergoing profound changes. Being successors of the socialist,teenagers' mental health and personality development are more likely to be affected by the social environment. So changes of the era have brought some influence to the teenagers and their families. The healthy growth of young people gets more and more attentions from the society and their families. Meanwhile, the social problems such as juvenile delinquency gradually become urgent problems. To explore an effective way in which can help juvenile delinquents returning to the community for a new life, the National Supreme People's Procuratorate and Supreme Court issued a document that suggested community correction work in the whole country in 2003. Considering in the fact that community correction work in foreign countries has a longer history and better working mode. This study proceeds with the present situation and the available resources,regard LongGang's community correction as an example,have made overall and deep analysis to its work status and inadequate, seeking ways and methods to improve the the level and quality of LongGang's community correction work, and looking for juvenile community correction work will have a better future development.Study found that LongGang's community correction is the pilot area of ShenZhen which have set up clear goals, working mechanism and content, build the online and offline joint collaboration platform for the community correction, used the professional role of professional social work organization and social resources, provided the corresponding services for their actual life and social needs. But at the same time, LongGang District youth community correction work is still facing serious challenges, including lack of funding sources, lack of professional personnel, lack of community correction objects, lack of service positions and so on. In order to improve these problems, this study puts forward some comments and suggestions for reference,such as enhancing financial support,stabling service team, taking the ideological education, innovating work mode,encouraging community participation, introducing university resources, innovating policy environment and so on.
