A Survey Report On The Correction Practice Of Juvenile Community Correction Subjects In District B Of City A

The new "Community Correction Law" promulgated in 2019 defined the goal of community correction as " to promote the smooth integration of community correction objects into society,prevent and reduce crime".However,many problems can not be ignored.Especially in the community correction of juvenile offenders,the effect of correction is not satisfactory,and there are many difficulties in the re-socialization of juvenile correction objects.Through investigation,research and interviews,this paper tries to show the self-cognition and social network of juvenile offenders in community correction.This paper focuses on the understanding and participation of the community correction participants,such as the staff of the community correction institutions,the assistant correction personnel and the corrected personnel.It analyzes the current difficulties of the community correction,and tries to seek the method that corrects the object to realize better socialization again.According to the practical investigation,the following problems exist in the community correction work for minors in Area B:First,the level of soundness and specialization of the community correction team for minors is low,and the participation of social forces in community correction is low.At the same time,the community resident participation is too low,and the minor community correction object social relations network needs to repair.Secondly,the self-cognition of juvenile community correction objects is biased,and the process of community correction lacks effective re-socialization measures.Third,the supporting system related to community correction for minors is not perfect,especially for the community correction objects in rural,correction projects are unrealistic.Meanwhile,community labor services,social adaptability and other projects are not in place.In order to solve these problems,firstly,we should strengthen the construction of community correction supporting laws and regulations,revise the implementing rules according to the new "community correction law",and improve the standard and legal level of community correction.Secondly,we should strengthen the selection criteria and professional training,establish a more scientific and effective assessment mechanism,widely mobilize volunteers to participate,and constantly strengthen the construction of community correction team.In addition,we should further improve community labor services,strengthen social adaptive support,work better in community correction projects for minors,help the minors better adapt to normal life,and smoothly return to society.
