| The Chinese dream and the American dream are respectively the national dream of China and America. The construction of Chinese dream originated from Confucian put forward the ideal of "harmony society", and the American dream is proposed by the gold rush immigrants in early European who went to America. They brought the thought produced by Europe Enlightenment of freedom, equality and human rights to the United States. But both of them have a huge difference among of the background,content, values, relying on strength, implementation, development trends,objectives, and other aspects. Chinese dream is nourished by the Chinese excellent traditional culture and the Marx doctrine, and the American dream mainly inherited the European Enlightenment Culture in the Renaissance period. The basic connotation of the Chinese dream is the national prosperity, national rejuvenation, the people's happiness. The basic connotation of the American dream is freedom, democracy, equality in the sense of values and narrow sense is the individual struggle to achieve success. The Chinese dream emphasizes collectivism and the American dream believes in individualism. Chinese dream is adhere to the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and stressed the peaceful development, while the American dream is rely on external expansion,plunder, war to achieve the goal. They take the road of hegemony. But they also have the same point. The two dream is reflect the people's pursuit of a better life, and has promoted the development of history. People need to work hard and dedicate to making their country much stronger. By comparison, we find that the American dream has a lot of inspiration to the Chinese dream. The moment the United States is facing many difficulties,need to be changed in time, while China is more close to the realization of the Chinese dream than any time in history. But the full realization of Chinese dream has a long way to go and needs all the Chinese people struggle unremittingly. |
