Research On The Role Of Red Tourism In Promoting The Popularization Of Marxism

After May 4th Movement of 1919,the spread of Marxism in China underwent the long process of spreading from individuals to organizations,from budding to ideological trend and from theory to practice.Mao Zedong Thought,Deng Xiaoping Theory and other theoretical achievements were born in the process of the integration and development of Marxism and Chinese Revolution.They are not only the great achievement of Chinesization of contemporary Marxism in China and guidance of the popularization of Marxism,but also the key component of red tourism resources.Marxism plays the important role of guiding ideology and theoretical basis.It guides us to proceed on the road of the great rejuvenation of China.However,Marxism is neither the truth of minority nor the exclusive truth of some social organizations.This grand objective can only have the probability to be achieved when the broadest masses of the people grasp the Marxism and Marxism ultimately becomes the inexhaustible strength to promote the development of society and economy.Therefore,Marxism must be popularized by all means.In the view of the strategic height of development and the passion that keeps pace with times,the report of the 17th National Congress of CPC explicitly proposed that we need to promote the Marxism popularization of contemporary China.The popularization of Marxism is to spread the principles of Marxism to the masses and make Marxism become the values of them in a popular and easy-to-understand way.In order to achieve this,it is necessary to develop red tourism.It is the red tourism resources,which is the unique carrier,that enables the Marxism to be more vivid.It also makes the Marxism be more close to the daily life of people.There is no doubt that this is one of the very important and effective ways.In 2000,Jiangxi is the first province that combined "red" and "tourism" these two words together.Besides,it drew up Nanchang,Jinggang Mountains and Ruijin these three red lines according to the red resources of Jiangxi Province.On February 22nd of 2005,Red Tourism Development Plan of 2004-2010 was issued by the General Office of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council.This plan explicitly defined the meaning of red tourism is the thematic tourism activities that organize travelers to remember,learn and visit.It takes the memorials and landmarks,which were formed when the Communist Party of China led the people to accomplish the great achievements,as carriers and it contains the connotation of revolution history,revolution deeds and revolution spirit.In recent years,the State Council issued the Measure of National Annual Leaves and Memorial Days and Workers Paid Annual Leave Regulations successively,which greatly stimulate the enthusiasm of masses for travelling.It also encourages the people whose living standard has been improved obviously to pursue higher-level spiritual component.With the sustained growth of tourism economy,red tourism develops rapidly and grows in ascendant.Besides,because our country attaches great importance to red tourism,many red tourist attractions implement the measures of reduced-price and even free admission.Through these means,these attractions attract the masses to visit the red tourism resources and inspire them to feel the strong spiritual strength inside the attractions.Red tourism is developed along with the struggle footprints and revolution spirit of the Communist Party of China.It enables people to visit the attractions and accept the ideological and political education at the same time.As the material and spiritual carrier of the revolution and construction of the Communist Party,it has close connection with the popularization of Marxism.The red tourism resources of Henan Province are unique and presents in the style that North and South is divided into two and the middle is a line.It possesses abundant red material cultural resources,red non-material cultural resources and red tourist routes and other resources,which becomes the effective breakthrough point to popularize the Marxism.The rich connotation inside these resources is also the vivid carrier of Marxism popularization.The broad masses,especially the youth,will understand more clearly about the great contributions that were made by martyr when they struggled for the national liberation and achieved the prosperity of the motherland.They will more identify with the national culture and strengthen the national esteem,confidence and pride.In this way,they will consciously combine the excellent spiritual wealth of Chinese nation with their own ideal belief and devote themselves to the struggle of the rejuvenation of Chinese nation.Therefore,the development of red tourism will enable the Marxism to obtain complement and development in social practice.As it should be,to facilitate the Marxism popularization through red tourism,it is necessary to optimize the ecological environment.Besides,it needs to achieve the based-on-life dissemination channel,vulgarization of dissemination language,popularization of target audiences and typification of communication carriers.To earnestly solve the problems generated in the development of red tourism and continuously enrich the presentation style and business model of red tourism,we need to involve the new media.Rolling up revolutionary tradition education,propaganda of Marxism and leisure into red tourism is not only the new type of tourist style,but also the new type of education style.We need to give full paly to the functions of red tourism,including political education,economic development and cultural transmission.In this way,red tourism will become the important way to facilitate Marxism popularization.
