The Comment On Habermas' Theory Of Communication From Marxist Philosophy

Starting with labor as the basic point,Marx believes that communication is under certain historical conditions,the unity of the relationship between the individual and the community in the physical and spiritual of activities that constrain,interact,and develop with each other and the formation of the relationship between the individual and the community.Communication is the social prerequisite for the normal and orderly development of social productive forces,the main motive force of historical development of human society,the important foundation of individual comprehensive and free development,and the important condition of realizing communism.Regardless of the reality of the individual or the whole society,it is not feasible to leave the communication based on material production practice.Based on Language as its theoretical basis and strived to a modern criticism of the road,Habermas came up with the theory of communicative action,to support the possibility of a rational based paradigm of rationalism and trying to a "Utopia" type of communicative rationality,to overcome the alienation of the relationship between people and people caused by the colonization of the life world.On the one hand,he affirmed the positive contribution of rationalization;on the other hand,he criticized the instrumental reason and the colonization of the life world.Because of Habermas' theory of communicative action abandoned the foundation of realistic material production practice,the excessive use of pragmatics,resulting in its critique of capitalism is not rational and inevitable difficulties in the process of Rebuilding Historical Materialism.Habermas' communication theory based on Marx's communication thought,had opened a new perspective in criticism of the capitalist society,and a challenge to Marx's communication theory.However,Marx's thought of communication,whether in the research base and the internal motive force,or the historical development of the understanding is clearly different.Habermas' theory of communication not only put forward a lot of enlightening arguments,but also has its rationality,to a certain extent,supplement the communication theory of Marx.On the whole,Habermas' communication theory only discusses how to analyze problems and there is no effective solutions to the substantive really solve the problem,but it is a "Utopian" style of improvement.Habermas' theory of communicative action does not develop the idea of Marx's communication;instead,he is in a dilemma of rebuilding the historical materialism.In the perspective of the globalization of the development of productive forces,only by adhering to the thought of Marx's communication,can solve the problems of interpersonal communication in the process of modernization.
