A Comparative Study Of Marx’s Communication Theory And Habermas’s Communication Theory

For a long time,the problem of communication has always been the focus of our attention.Marx’s communication theory is an important part of his historical materialism and a correct summary of human existence.As a kind of scientific world outlook,Marx’s communication theory,along with the development of human society,shows the scientific side for future generations to learn and develop.Habermas’ theory of communication is one of the most realistic theories in contemporary society.The comparative analysis of Marx’s and Habermas’ s theory of communication has important guiding significance for the practice of building socialism with Chinese characteristics and the practice of building a prosperous,democratic,civilized,harmonious and beautiful modern socialist country.This article(except the introduction)is divided into four parts to discuss the main content of Marx’s communication theory and Habermas’ communication theory,and to compare the two,and expounds the similarities and differences between the two and the significance of comparison.The first part mainly discusses the development course and core content of Marx’s communication theory.Marx’s communication theory development process is mainly divided into four steps,one is the bud of Marx’s communication thought-marked by the 1844 philosophical and economic manuscripts.The second is the proposition of Marx’s thought of communication-marked by the outline of Feuerbach.Third,the maturity of Marx’s communication thought-marked by german ideology.Fourth,the rich development of Marx’s communication thought-taking the 1857-1858 economic manuscript as the symbol,has interpreted Marx’s communication thought development course from the above four steps;As for the core content of Marx’s communication theory,it mainly discusses the core points of the theory from four aspects: the category of communication,the essence of communication,the characteristics of communication and the social function of communication.The second part,elaborated Habermas’ communication theory,which mainly consists of two parts,one is the content of Habermas’ communication theory,the other is the two main themes of Habermas’ communication theory.The main content begins with Habermas’ s division of four behaviors.According to Habermas communication theory of two themes,namely the communication of the life world and system perspective and communication rationality two themes focused on research.The third part compares Marx’s theory of communication with Habermas’ theory of communication,and expounds the similarities and differences between them from three aspects: the connotation of communication,the theoretical basis of communication theory,and the motive force of communication activities.The fourth part expounds the contemporary significance of the comparative study of Marx’s communication theory and Habermas’ s communication theory,including the theoretical significance and its practical significance.This part revolves around the reality of contemporary Chinese society to study the modernization of communication theory,and enrich the content of the development of contemporary communication theory.This paper reveals the value leap of communication theory from two aspects of globalization and human destiny community.Marx’s foresight communication theory has an invaluable guiding role in all aspects of human life and communication.It can be introduced,in the world of globalization,use the scientific theory of communication,the reasonable transformation of western development on Marx’s communication theory,from a dialectical perspective to treat Habermas’ s innovation on the theory of communication,not only of Marx’s communication theory has a certain promotion,we have increased the independent use of scientific theory to guide practice ability.
