Research On The Protection Of Privacy Right In We-Media Era

We-media comes quietly with the development of scientific development. The rapid growth of we-media increased audience quantity of information greatly and enhanced the timeliness of news largely, which offered unprecedented platform for expressing freely to people. Meanwhile, the cases that we-media invaded privacy are in common occurrence, which means that the immaturity of the operation mechanism of we-media and the hysteresis as well as weak operability of relevant laws and regulations caused the non-regulatory we-media with bringing new impact to privacy protection. The confliction between we-media and right to know, freedom of expression as well as the right to supervise has become the center of multiplicity of interests and the problem that is urgently to be solved. Firstly, this article made an overview of privacy right in we-media era; then it analyzed the invasion of privacy right in we-media era from three aspects, including characteristic, subject and main body of infringement; furthermore, it carried out carried out comparison research on overseas privacy right protective mode in we-media era, and analyzed the status and problems in existing in Chinese protection of privacy right in we-media era from the perspectives of legal regulation and industrial self-discipline, based on which, it implemented outlook of the path of perfecting Chinese protection of privacy right in we-media era from two aspects of legislation and industrial self-discipline.
