Investigation And Research On New Citizens' Ideological And Moral Education In The Context Of New Urbanization

China is now in the critical stage of constructing well-off society all-round way and also in the key period of upgrading economic restructure, constructing socialist modernization and proceeding urbanization in-depth have developed. Urbanization has a great realistic influence on social economic development, stabilization and harmony. Though those new citizens in the context of urbanization have development their living environment and quality, there are still huge differences between their ideological and moral levels and all-round development of human being required by the new urbanization development. After disentangling the core concept of the new citizen raised by the educational circles, this paper definitly discuss the theoretical purposes, principles and relevant concept of the new citizens' ideological and moral education. Combining the thesis with the practical research work at the two local communities in the Qiongshan district of Haikou city, the low levels of the new citizens' ideological and moral quality can be revealed from three points: the low integration into the urban society, preferential self-serving behavior and the less sense of social responsibility and the shortage of manpower and material resources in this sector. This current situation can be reduced to the single educational mode, the vague activities this phenomenon can be summarized into the uncoverted self-awareness, indifference by all sectors of society as well as the functional weakening of the Party branch. At the end of this paper, proposals are put forward to strenghten and consummate the new citizens' ideological and moral education, mairly including improving its educational circumstance, perfecting its content, enriching its carrier format as well as bringing forth new ideas of this education. The research on this paper hopes to do some productive exploration for the improvement of the ideological and moral levels of the new citizens, so as to establish a solid foundation and case to build up a moderately prosperous society in all aspects, speed up socialist modernization and bring about a great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
