The inheritance of the social core value system is the important ideological foundation to maintain social stability and form the national identity,and the ideological education for the children is the eternal theme that any nation-state always attaches importance to,which is related to the national identity and the construction of national cohesion and centripetal force.The education of children's consciousness in China has a long history,and in the course of thousands of years of social development,a great deal of social enlightenment is formed.Under the efforts of the State,the government,the school and the teachers,the ideological education of children has entered the stage of discipline.At present,with the rapid changes of international and domestic social environment,as well as the new changes of the physical and mental development of the contemporary children,the children's ideological consciousness education faces various new problems and challenges,and scientifically and professionally responds to the problems and obstacles in the education of children's ideological consciousness,and the improvement of children's ideological education becomes the theme of the age.This paper makes an empirical study on the current situation of ideological education of children and adolescents,firstly,defines the concept of ideological education,and probes into the present situation of children's ideological education by means of the content of ideological education,the characteristics of children's ideological education and the significance of children's ideological education.In this paper,the questionnaires of primary school teachers are collected and analyzed,from the basic situation,the education of children's ideological consciousness and the effect of ideological education,and deeply excavate the existing problems of ideology education.The cultivation goal is not meticulous,the development of children's ideological consciousness stops on the surface layer,the organization orientation is biased,the students' subjectivity is neglected,the education content is fragmented,the scientific system is lacking,the education activity and mode are cured,the innovation is insufficient,The effect is not obvious.The reasons of these problems are analyzed,including:the lack of education status and curriculum status in school ideology and consciousness education,the lacking of guidance and support for ideological consciousness education,the lack of awareness among the ideological consciousness educators and the insufficiency of their development.Finally,it expounds the countermeasures to improve the education work of children's ideological consciousness:to build a network of children's ideological education,to integrate educational resources,to create a supportive environment for the education of adolescents,to enrich the educational system of children's ideological consciousness,to improve educational methods,to enhance the vitality of children's ideological education,to strengthen the professional team and inspire the children's ideological education.Through the investigation of the actual situation,this paper provides some ideas for the ideological education of children in Hunan province,and strengthens the pertinence and effectiveness of the ideological education work.
