The Eco-politics Dimension Of National Governance

With the context of ecology degradation becoming a major problem of our society, People are increasingly concerned about our living environment. The change of environment will have a profound impact on health, wealth, social justice and sustainable development of our country. Ecological problems are rooted in the political power structure, which creates inequality. Thus, the digestion of ecological risks needs political thinking mode. Now governance reform provides an opportunity to realize the views of eco-politics.This dissertation is designed to expound eco-politics theory based on various research works, and to establish relationship between eco-politics and governance reform, within the analytical framework of power and rights. Ecological governance is an important keyword. Enjoy good ecological conditions gradually become a basic human right in view of the fact that the ecological conditions are constantly deteriorating. Government, market, environmental non-governmental organizations and individual citizens should bear the responsibility of a different nature to improve and protect the environment. In terms of organizational structure, the author analyze the Greens and put forward that the factors of being rooted grass roots, flat and grass-roots democracy should become a common feature of political organizations including political parties, considering the view that the grassroots and decentralized political organization is more eco-friendly, and multidimensional power is possible in this organizational structure. Multidimensional power against excessive domination, which will do better in maintain the ecological rights of the people.The views and stances of ecological political theory and practice could become reality in today's governance change, and it reflects distinct characteristics of the times of the combination. These theories exploration began in the West, not only provides the strategic thinking space to deal with the ecological crisis and solve ecological problems in Western society but also for China's current green political practice. Combined with eco-politics theory and governance theory provides a useful reference and inspiration for ecology improvement. Nevertheless the chinization and indigenization of theories is a more challenging task, which needs further in-depth thinking.
