A Study On Working Mechanism Against Terrorist Explosion For Major Events In Dongguan City

In the information age of high advances in science and technology, terrorist activity mode exhibits varied trend following development of science and technology. Explosive terrorist activities, among terrorist activities, have been of great harm, convenient facilities, broad impact, etc. and thus are favored by terrorists. Explosive terrorist activities targeting condensedly-populated major events is the top option for terrorist from all countries worldwide.Therefore, to strengthen the ability to prevent explosive terrorist attack that may happen in major events in Dongguan, and fighting off explosion-related mass death and casualty, this paper studies working mechanism against terrorist explosion for major events in Dongguan.The author, by integrating public administration concept into anti-explosion and terrorist attack practice in major events, selecting representative major event as imaginary target of terrorist attack and comprehensively using qualitative and quantitative analysis, points out potential safety hazards of major event of all kinds in Dongguan, and then by regarding anti-explosion and terrorist attack as a cutting point and discussing two professional aspects: security check and explosive ordnance disposal, thoroughly analyzes operation mechanism of security check for explosives and emergency response against terrorist explosion and proposes some management suggestions fitting in with Dongguan's character.Based on study, this paper states that anti-explosion security check for explosives and emergency response are two essential special works for strengthening the ability to prevent explosive terrorist attack and suggests that security hazards evaluation for major events shall be arranged in advance to allocate personnel and equipment reasonably according to specific time and site. Each special work has to be connected effectively and timely converted.This paper proposes some working methods which can not only be used in security protection of major events but also provide valuable references for security check and explosive ordnance disposal work in subways, airports and other condensedly-populated major places.
