The Research On Act Of Government Regulation Of Chinese Taxi Industry

Taxi is one of the most important part of urban public transport in our country, it plays an important role in sharing transportation pressure and making people traveling convenient. However,there occurs more and more problems by the rapid development of taxi industry. It is far from enough to regulating taxi industry only by market, the social commonweal and economic characteristics of taxi industry determine that governments is necessarily the subjects of intervention. But due to the lack conscious of the function and position of taxi industry, governments have to take the responsibility of management deficiencies in it, which causes many problems in taxi industry and restricts its disciplined and healthy development.In this paper, by analyzing the status of the existing problems and reasons of the government regulation of the taxi industry in our country, based on the experience of foreign government regulation of the taxi industry and by combining with the actual situation of China's taxi industry, we analyze their demands from the relationship among government, taxi companies, taxi software, taxi drivers and passengers, and conclude the new ideas of our own government regulation of the taxi industry. Finally we put forward suggestions for the Chinese government regulation of the taxi industry. Firstly, establishing the system of taxi driver training, assessment, forensics and review. Secondly, strengthening the management of taxi operation rights and formulating the corresponding laws and regulations. Thirdly, formulating the long-term planning of the taxi industry development and making scientific control of it. Finally, improving the taxi management system and standardizing the management system. The research has a certain reference value for improving China's taxi industry government regulation level and promoting the sustainable development of the taxi industry.
