Research On Government Regulation In The Quanzhou Texi Industry

Quanzhou is located in the southeast coast, is a livable city with a long history, developed economy. As a pioneer of reform and opening up in Fujian province, the Quanzhou taxi industry began in the early 1980's. After decades of cultivation, the scale of taxi market continuous development. Now, for the citizens of Quanzhou, it has become one of the main ways for the daily medium and short-range transportation by texi. But in recent years, under the gorgeous appearance of large corporate operating and scale management, the Quanzhou taxi industry are exposed more and more disharmonious problems and contradictions.This article is based on sufficient investigation about the present situation of the Quanzhou taxi industry, deeply analyze the cause of these problems and contradictions behind the deep-seated reasons of the government regulation, for example: the inappropriate access setting, the conservative quantity control, the defective price control, the service control implementation is not in place, and accordingly puts forward the suggestions on regulatory reform. The main research content of this article is summarized as follows: the first, introduces the taxi industry status and the government regulation theory. This article expounds the necessity of government regulation and its relationship with the market mechanism. Then Analysis of the existing problems of government regulation in the Quanzhou taxi industry focus from four aspects: the access control, quantity control, price control and service control, in order to analyze the reason. Finally by related the government regulation at home and abroad for reference and experience, in order to put forward some suggestions for the reform of government regulation in the Quanzhou taxi industry in the future.
