A Study On The Interaction Of Social Organizations And Local Governments In Community Building

Since the 80s of the 20th century,with urban economic reform and the large number of "units" to "social",also with social mobility and the needs of the residents changing from the basic life safeguard to improving living environment,riching amateur life and other high level needs,which results in China's urban community-based services becoming increasingly prominent.In order to improve people's livelihood,increase residents' life happiness index,our government in promoting the standardization of construction in developing community,the original transaction management and services should be borne by the government are increasing transferred to the civil society.They expect to use the power of social organizations to participate in community construction,enlarge the chances of participation of community building and establish communities' management and service system which adapting to the social development.This thesis,from the perspective of social interaction theory,with Boutique Community Project in Y District of Nanjing as an example,based on literatures on social organizations embedding community construction and social organizations interacting with governments from both domestic and international,by using qualitative research method,selecting part of the social organizations and government workers by purposive sampling method,through observing and recording all stages of the interaction in operating this project,studies the interactive relations of them.The author found that the interaction between social organizations and government is a rational choice which is based on their own needs.With the development of the project,they completed the exchange of resources,the delivery of services and interaction of policy.In order to promote interaction,both of them have adopted a series of strategy,which results in three models of coordination:synergistic interaction,service replacement,and gleaning.Besides the partners,the coordination also made an impact on output efficiency and the society.At last,the author also found that the interaction between them has a lot of problems.
