A Study On Ritual Education Of Young Pioneers

Rituals widely exist in people’s life,work and study.This study focused on the Young Pioneer ritual which is an important piece in the Young Pioneer work in middle school and the result of the study can provide the theoretical frame for the practice of the Young Pioneer work in school in the future.As a result,this study has the theoretical and practical value.This study used literary analysis,natural observation,interviews and other research methods to conduct the survey and got the induction after the research on the Young Pioneer ritual implementation in T Middle School.The study categorized the Young Pioneer work in school in different dimensions including "organization frame","the timing for the rituals" and "the steps and contents of the rituals".On the basis of that,the study discussed the implementation mechanism of having the educational significance of Young Pioneer ritual in the following three aspects.First,from the perspective of the cognitive model,the study talked about the transformation from the static symbols to dynamic system and discussed the significant help in the process of Young Pioneers’ identity validation including not only having clear self-identity and organizational role but also implying the Young Pioneer’s identity "growth" marked in the specific rituals.Second,from the perspective of emotions,the study discussed the "concrete" ritual process and the "general" establishment of the psychological and physical field of rituals and it revealed the great importance in inducing emotion resonance by having the emotion experience and promoting the sense of emotional belonging.Third,from the perspective of practicality,using the example of"14-year-old birthday ceremony" and "Red Scarf change ceremony",the author discussed in detail how the content and the setting of Young Pioneer rituals enriched the experience of Young Pioneers and the author also elaborated the significant influence of the rituals on Young Pioneers’ physical and psychological development.Finally,the study provided the suggestions and reflection from five different aspects including the research design,the subject of the research,the details of the procedure,the experience,and the feedback and evaluation in regards to the present situation of the Young Pioneer ritual education implementation in this school.
