Doha Round of World Trade Talks is bound to be the most important trade negotiation in restoring the world economy. Though carrying the wish of the third world to develop, it has stagnated for 15 years due to the contradiction between the South and the North. Ever since pessimists have been talking about the dime prospect of the multilateral trade mechanism.Under this background, this easy looks at Doha Round from philosophy of law and attempts to look into the rebuilding of the world economy,the future of international trade mechanism and China’s position and the strategies it should take in Doha Round. The result of this attempt might provide legal support for a sustained world economy and a world trade mechanism that is freer and fairer.This easy argues for Doha Round from political,moral,economic and historical perspectives. Meanwhile.it also provides possible ways of resolving the contradiction between the South and the North.promoting the integration of the South and the North and seeking balanced development of the world.Then,this easy attempts to discuss four implementable strategies to further Doha Round. First.be fairer and more efficient in dispute resolving. Second,tackle easier problems first. Third,encourage small nations to form blocs to negotiate.Forth, facilitate Doha Round with the help of UNCTAD(United Nations Conference on Trade and Development).In addition, this essay analyzes the relationship between China and Doha Round, and put forward strategies and principles China should take in Doha Round. These strategies and principles are as follow:firmly advocate South-South cooperation; further develop free trade; resolutely defend economic sovereignty; promote fair trade that benefits everyone; observe the democratic decision making process of WTO.This essay, divided into 3 parts, is structured as follow:overview of basic theories; analysis of Doha Round from a legal point of view; application of theories to practice.
