Research On The Dilemma And Countermeasure Involved In The Governance Of Public Space Of Resettlement Community

Public space is the open physical space in the community,including roads,green spaces,squares,parking spaces,shops,activity rooms and other places and public facilities.Community public space meets the diverse needs of people for daily life and social communication,it may also gather and intensively display problems and contradictions,which usually reported by news and draw more and more attention especially in recent years.Community public space is related to the environment and quality of a community,affecting the quality of life and people's sense of belonging and happiness to some extent.So it becomes the inner demand of community development to maintain and improve the community public space.Based on this,this paper selects a resettlement community with serious problems for public space in Wuxi as the research object,and looks into quantity scale,service condition,conflicts cases of community public space,as well as viewpoint and behavior of interest-related subjects.After investigation and analysis,it is found that property right between public space and private space is not clear and the residents occupy public space for self-interest.And as public goods,because of a shortage of supply and lake of humanized design and construction,community public space can not meet the growing demands of people.The residents in the researched community lack public consciousness which result in the phenomenon called "free rider",and interest-related subjects differ from ability and market power.Besides,community public space with imperfect governance mechanism is faced with serious governance dilemma.Aiming at problems above,this paper makes in-depth analysis basing on relative references and facts of the situation of the community,and provides pertinent and feasible countermeasures as following:clarify the property right between public space and private space and regulate using behavior,put more emphasis on community plan and create more humanized space,encourage community participation,cooperation and supervision,change governance mode and enhance professionalism and efficiency.
