The Research On Shen Jiaben's Legal Education Thought

Shen jiaben(1840-1913),famous jurist,legislation and law educator of Late Qing dynasty,was the founder of modern Chinese law.He prospectively put forward the legal education thought which conforms to the condition of the old country roughly and put into effect boldly.He played an important role for the old traditional education situation.It was his significant contribution.He was the pioneer of modern legal education in China.His action played a big role in changing the tradition education situation of the old country.However,there are very few systematic study of Shen jiaben's legal education thought in academic world at present.The writer thinks that the legal education is the important content of his many aspects of thought and can not be ignored.This article takes Shen jiaben's legal thought as object of study,probes into the connotation of thought and the practice attempt,realizes the academic factor of forming the grand master of law science and tightly combines many aspects of current training objective,training mode,faculty,curriculum provision,evaluating method with it.It goes deeply into the pattern and path of impelling practical talents transformation and improving education quality.The article contains six parts:The first chapter:It is the introduction part.It introduces the research status,contents,innovate points,trains and methods of Shen jiaben's legal education thought.The second chapter:It contains the generation process,history background,origin source of thought,practical basis,and power impetus of Shen jiaben's legal education thought.It stresses emphasize on the formation factors and origin of the great master's thought.The third chapter:It contains the connotation and practical activities of Shen jiaben's legal education thought.In theory,the key point is to find the importance,the theory on school management curriculum provision,textbook selecting of Shen jiaben's legal education thought.He worked hard in resetting the legal doctor,improving the jail system,establishing the Jingshi legal school,dispatching overseas students,employing abroad teachers,collecting legal text,and founding the academic group.The fourth chapter:It objectively evaluates the positive significance and limitations of Shen jiaben's legal education thought.So we can learn something from the deeper level understanding from its significance and its vision of the limitations of law education thought.The fifth chapter:It analyses the current legal education and the cultivation of talents in our country,and explores the enlightenment and reference for the applied law talents in China of Shen jiaben's legal education thought.The sixth chapter is about outlook and summary.This part summarizes the system and practice of Shenjiaben's legal education thought,analyzes the current situation of our country's legal education,and discusses the enlightenment for fostering the talents of practice.It summarizes the research conclusion,and necessary and possible for future research problems.
